It can be extremely difficult to get back into a routine after summer break.

It can be extremely difficult to get back into a routine after summer break. Here at Little Harpeth Children’s Dentistry we want to offer a few tips and tricks to get back into your brushing and flossing routines.

1. During the school year it can become hectic to get out of the house on time. You can place extra toothbrushes and floss under all of the bathroom cabinets and even the kitchen sink for that last minute brush before leaving the house.

2.Try out an electric toothbrush for something new and fun! We recommend the Oral B Vitality.

3. Listen to your favorite song while brushing.

4. Let the kids pick out a new toothbrush and toothpaste flavor to kick off the new school year.

5. Make it a family friendly affair and brush together!

6. Set a family alarm on your phone to remind everyone to brush together.

7. Keep a routine and a schedule for morning and nighttime routines.

As always, we encourage brushing and flossing twice a day!
