Age One Visit

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Pediatric Association strongly recommend your child visit a Pediatric Dentist by age 1 or six months after their first tooth erupts.

During this appointment, your child will become acclimated with our kid-friendly dental office; Dr. Priya will do an in depth dental exam that will allow her to chart growth and development for your child, a complete oral exam of their airway, teeth, jaws, gums, and oral cavity; personalized anticipatory guidance for trauma and teeth eruption; dietary and nutritional counseling; oral habit diagnosis; oral hygiene instructions; radiographs if applicable; and a dental cleaning; review of milestones.
