Baby Teeth Are Whaley Important!

Baby teeth are important! They help to maintain health, function, and aesthetic. Prevention is key! The first visit is recommended at their first birthday or six months after the first tooth erupts. It is important to take care of your teeth! Brush your little ones teeth with a grain of rice sized amount of toothpaste. We recommend a training toothpaste until the molars erupt. Don’t worry we will check at each visit and let you know when to make the switch to a fluoride toothpaste. We always recommend brushing in the morning and at night before bedtime. We strongly encourage flossing nightly especially when the teeth touch together. Here at Little Harpeth Children’s Dentistry we will offer recommendations for healthy foods and snacks and what to avoid! Preventing is best and we are always here to answer any questions you may have!
